My
research is focused on the population of river
otters inhabiting the Humboldt Bay area of northern California. I
am evaluating if specific habitat
characteristics are present at river otter latrine sites compared to paired
random sites. I am also evaluating the seasonal use of
different habitat types by river otters through scent mark deposition
rates
occurring at otter latrines.
