Energy and water in the environment are examined as they relate to animal physiology and habitat ecology. Laboratories stress objective assessments and methodologies for measurement of the physical environment that affects energy and water for wildlife (data loggers, temperature measurement, and metabolic rate). 3 units. Field Trip required.
  • Prerequisites:
    • Wildlife techniques or an environmental sampling course
    • Principals of Wildlife Management or a general ecology course
    • Principals of Biology
  • Required Text: Assigned readings from the literature
