Program Mission

New Games provides an opportunity for children to play fun, physically active, self-expressive and non-competitive games. Volunteers share a variety of games with children ranging in age from pre-school through middle school.

Service, Goals & Projects

Service is provided to after school and recess programs. Multiple hour-long weekly sessions allow volunteers to introduce games that are universally comfortable and easily followed. All games incorporate interaction and lead to development of positive interpersonal responses as well as group spirit. Both children and volunteers greatly enjoy the chance to share smiles, laughs, and fun times.

Current Service Sites:

Fuente Nueva Charter School: Monday 2:30-3:30pm

Trillium Charter School: Wednesday 3:30-4:30pm

Peninsula Union Elementary School: Friday 3:00-4:00pm
