To support students in providing volunteer programs

News

Programs are totally immersed in their service but soon will be winding down for the conclusion of another school year.

The Alternative Spring Break trip was a powerful learning experience for students of this YES program.  San Francisco proved to be an incredible city in which to provide services to the homeless.  While staying in the Tenderloin District, the 16 volunteers spent busy days and nights assisting with food preparation, vegetable garden maintenance, shelter cleanup and even learned first-hand what it is like after hours in the shadows of night ministry. See photos below.

Recently the Hand-in-Hand program put on a wildly successful drag show.  With attendance almost to capacity, the Green and Gold Room proved to be the perfect location.  The runway room arrangement served as the ideal backdrop for the high energy presentation.  What great results to benefit a very worthy program working with local foster families.
