At Humboldt State University, the Provost is the chief academic officer of the University, overseeing the academic affairs of the individual colleges (College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences; College of Professional Studies; College of Natural Resources and Sciences), the faculty, the Library, Information Technology Services, and the curriculum. The deans of the colleges report to the Provost and the Provost reports to the President.
