Quick Start Tips for Getting Your Software Installed in the Interdisciplinary Technology Facilities

Make plans early for the best facility and time selection. Hint/tip: Contact Academic Computing at ext. 4200 to discuss technical installation issues.

Your department coordinator can determine what facilities are available. Be sure to include your software with your scheduling request so your software installation can be scheduled for the correct facility.

Once your scheduled facility has been confirmed by your department coordinator, submit your software, license, installation instructions, and contact information to Academic Computing (Fall deadline is May 1, Spring and Summer deadline is Nov. 15). If you have not received schedule confirmation one week prior to the deadlines above you should contact your department coordinator immediately.

Academic Computing will inform you when and where you can test the prototype installation.

There will also be times during the week prior to the term when you can test your software in your scheduled facility. If you are unsure who to start with, call Academic Computing, ext. 4200.

Please see details for information and explanation of deadlines.
