| Facilities Management Projects: Campus Signage and Wayfinding This project will develop a comprehensive way finding and signage program from HSU's borders, throughout the campus, and the building interiors. The program will integrate the variety of building types and architecture into a more unified whole, and incorporate HSU's institutional identity to refresh and enhance the look and function of the physical campus. College Creek Student Housing This project will build new apartments to house 434 students, as well as construct a student community center, all-weather soccer field, and a small support and maintenance building. Schatz Energy Research Center-- The Schatz Energy Research Center has donated approximately $3M to construct a new research facility. The new research center, located atop Cluster Court to the west of the BSS Building, will contain two indoor laboratories, one exterior laboratory, machine shop, conference/demonstration room and offices for both staff and graduate students. UC Quad Pedestrian Safety Project This project will increase the safety of the University Center Quad by limiting unauthorized vehicular traffic with strategically placed bollards and planters. Using 2005/06 Minor Capital Funds, the project will cost around $63,000. For more detailed Facilities Management project information, go to the Facilities Management website. |
