NOTE: The following codes may be entered by Enrollment Management evaluators for new students whose records clearly (i.e., equivalent articulated transfer course completed with C- or higher, or appropriate test scores) indicate their mathematics level. Those students who dispute or challenge their assigned codes or who fall into a “gray” area (i.e., completed a precalculus or calculus course which has not been officially articulated) should continue to be referred to the Mathematics Department for review:

* Please note Math 46 is an optional brief, intensive review offered during the first week of the semester to students who have taken the ELM, but believe they could improve their Math Proficiency with such a review. Results are assessed by means of the Math Placement Test. Because students who attempt this means of improving Math Proficiency are not always successful, it is required that student registering in Math 46 also register in the remedial course their ELM score indicates. If students succeed in improving their Math Proficiency through Math 46, they may adjust their schedules accordingly.
