About the Alumni Association
The Alumni Association was organized in 1924, just 11 years after the institution was founded. We currently have over 4,000 members out of 50,000+ graduates of HSU, one of the highest percentages of memberships of any CSU! Humboldt State is proud of the relationship it has with former students who maintain their strong ties with the University for a lifetime.
Membership in the Alumni Association is the best way to stay connected to your alma mater. Go to our How to Join page for further information or join the Association via our secure Online Community.
Once a student, always an alum!
Chapters
The Humboldt State University Alumni Association is actively pursuing the development of Chapters to compliment the activities of the Association. The primary purpose of a Chapter is to advance and establish a mutually beneficial relationship between Humboldt State University and its alumni and friends through an officially recognized organization. Chapters provide programs of service and support to the Humboldt campus and its alumni, and encourage students and alumni of Humboldt State University to interact with one another on a professional and social basis. Chapters may represent alumni in an academic area, professional interest, or geographic region and need to provide a unique form of support for Humboldt State University.
Current HSUAA chapters include, Forestry Chapter, Nursing Chapter, Wildlife Chapter, or Sacramento Area Chapter. Contact information is provided below:
