media exposure to the H.S.U. Campus and the surrounding community
To club members, the S.A.G. offers experience in:
- presentation of artwork
- public relations
- art and gallery administration
- behind-the-scenes function in professional Gallery operations
Aside from our regular scheduled shows of student artistís work, we also organize special events and shows throughout the school year. The Student Access Gallery is the only art club on campus, and we try to be a support group for art students to answer questions about career plans, resumes, graduate schools, etc.
S.A.G is an Associated Students funded club,
and also is offered as a one unit class.
We invite those who want to come and just hang out, those who would like to help hanging shows, and also those who want to take the course for credit.
The club meets every other wednesday, starting January 30th, at 5:00 pm in room 205 of the Art Building (the painting lab). The faculty advisor is Theresa Stanley, (707) 826-3638. Our office is located in Warren House #53 (707 826-4149) or you can
