Information on submission of Abstracts

Overview of Abstract Format:

Title of Abstract
The title should be no more than fifteen (15) words, and the field will
only accept 255 characters. Please type the title in all capital letters.

Body of Abstract
The body of abstract field should be no more than 300 words, therefore,
this submission form will deny abstracts that exceed 2000 characters.
Character Entities are counted as one (1) character, and spaces are not
counted.

Authors must be registered for the conference before they can submit an abstract. Once registered, you will receive an e-mail confirmation and a username and password (along with the link to the website for submitting your abstract). You will then use your username and password to log into the abstract site and to submit your abstract. To allow time for your registration to be processed, you should register at least 3 business days before you submit your abstract (and no later than March 15, 2004).

An abstract number will be assigned to each presentation by 20 April 2004. Submit no more than one 1st authored paper. There is space for about 200 oral presentations and 120 posters, allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional oral presentations may be designated as alternates or poster presentations.

Oral Presentations must be done in Power Point format; each Power Point presentation file must adhere to the guidelines provided on the conference website . Oral presentations will be allotted 12 min for the talk and 3 min for questions.

Poster Presentations will have a display board that is approximately 40 inches (100 cm) high by 60 inches (150 cm) wide. Posters must fit within these dimensions. Materials can be mounted on the board with push pins (to be supplied by the presenter).
