Evaluation of Student Oral and Poster Presentations
The American Society of Mammalogists places great importance on the active participation of students at meetings and on excellence in the presentation of research results. To encourage these goals, an evaluation program designed to aid students in presenting oral and poster papers has been established for our annual meetings. Students (undergraduate, graduate, and recent doctorate) who meet eligibility requirements and would like their papers evaluated may so indicate on the Abstract Submission Form by checking the appropriate box. Papers will be observed by three volunteer evaluators and assessed in the categories of abstract, content, organization, style of presentation, and graphics. Evaluation forms will be returned to all participating students after the meeting.
