Text Box: Welcome to my web site.  Contained on these pages is information about me, the courses I teach, and the research I pursue with my students.

My laboratory conducts research on the effects of heavy metals such as copper and iron on the physiology of the nervous system and the effects of these metals upon behavior.  More information is provided in the Research section of the web site.

I teach courses in Animal and Human Physiology as well as General Zoology.  I’ve also been known to teach graduate seminars on neuroscience and toxicology.  More information is provided in the Courses section of the web site.

Office Hours:  Fall 2009 - Tuesday 10:00 - 11:00, Thursday 11:00 - 12:00, Friday 10:00 - 12:00, and by appointment

 

Furlough information:  Due to budget cuts, all HSU faculty are required to take nine furlough days each semester.  My furlough days for the fall semester are:  August 21, September 9, October 2 & 16, November 9, 19 & 20, December 7 & 19.  I will not be on campus on furlough days and I may not respond to e-mails.
