Welcome to Jacks Baseball

The Jacks roster holds 33 players, 15 on traveling squad. The Jacks are a member of the National Club Baseball Association, Southern Pacific Conference, North Region. Jacks perennially compete for the conference title and regional playoff spot.

Jacks Come Home 3-0

The Jacks had an amazing weekend at UC Merced. Congratulations to the entire team for sweeping our first series. Your hardwork and dedication during the pre-season is paying off. Jacks own Dave Breisacher was recognized as the player of the week.

Breisacher helped HSU sweep Confernece rival UC Merced over the weekend. Breisacher went 6 for 12 with 3 doubles, 1 HR, 5 RBI's, 4 runs, 2 stolen bases and 1 walk.

The Jacks put up a total of 29 runs with no errors. Gregory Manata racked up his first win with an 8-inning shutout to finish off the series.

Jacks Pre-Season Kicks Off

Welcome to all new club members. We have quite a large roster this season. It's exciting to see so much new talent on the field. We will be utilizing Moodle this semester to keep track of course documents and club announcements. There is a link in the quick nav box on the right to the Club Baseball course page in Moodle. You will be required to login using your HSU e-mail ID and password. If you have trouble logging into Moodle you can call the Helpdesk at 826-HELP.

NCBA Player of the Week

The NCBA player of the week for the Southern Pacific North conference was Jack's own Geoffrey Ostrove.

"Ostrove was clutch against UC Berkeley over the weekend, going 4 for 7. Ostrove had one RBI and crossed the plate 3 times himself. He also had one stolen base and 1 walk in the weekends games."
