Making your Course Available/Unavailable to Students

When Blackboard courses are created, the default setting makes them unavailable to students. This allows you to post and organize course content before students have access to the information. You will need to make your courses available to students before they are able to view any of your course content.

At the end of the semester you will need to make your course unavailable if you do not want students to access the course after the semester.

To make your courses available to students:

• In the Control Panel , under Course Options, click Course Settings
• Click the link for Course Availability
• Choose Yes , and click Submit
• To make course unavailable, choose No, and click Submit
