Hiding Courses under "My Courses"

Sometimes you may have courses on your profile that you may not need during a particular semester. If that is the case, it's easy to tidy up your Blackboard homepage and show only the courses you need.

To hide a course in Blackboard:

• Log into Blackboard and make sure you are under the My HSU tab.
• Click on the small pencil icon in the upper right hand corner of the My Courses section (should be the top right hand box on the page).
• Under Display Course, clear the checkmarks by all courses you do not want displayed. Note: You also pick whether or not you'd like announcements displayed for a course separately, under the heading Display Announcements.
• When you have checkmarks only by the courses you'd like displayed, scroll to the bottom of the page and click submit.
• Blackboard will confirm that the “module has been successfully updated.” Click the OK button, and now only the courses you picked will show up.
