Delaying Quiz Feedback
It is possible to not reveal answers and feedback while an exam is in progress, but then to reveal them later so students can check their answers and study for the future.
When you first make the quiz available, do not select any of the results or feedback options. When the student submits his exam, he will only see his score (e.g., 45 out of 50 total points). When he checks his grade through Student Tools, he can select the score for this quiz, but will only see the final score.
After your students have all taken the quiz (or the final date passes), return to the Control Panel: Assessment Manager and select the Set Availability button next to the quiz. Enable the results and feedback you want the students to have by selecting the check boxes. If you did not put date restrictions on the quiz, you should also put in a password--this way students who failed to take the quiz in time will no longer have access to it. Submit your changes and let your students know.
Now, when a student checks her grade through Student Tools
and selects on the score for this quiz, she will see the enabled results
in addition to her final score. (Great way to study for future quizzes
and exams!)
