Humboldt State University Cycling Team

As most of you are aware, insurance is required to be active on the Humboldt State Cycling team. If you do not have have insurance there is no need to worry as temporary insurance can be purchased rather inexpensively online or through a local provider. Temporary insurance will satisfy the requirements for the school and for being active with the team. Another important note for insurance is Life Flight insurance. If you need to be air lifted to a hospital your normal insurance usually will not cover the cost which can be as much as $25,000.

Start thinking about ways to raise funds for the Humboldt Cycling team. Funds raised by the team benefit not only the people who go to races but also help pay for sweatshirts and end of semester parties.
Last year the team depleted the funds that had been raised. Gas isn't getting any cheaper and if we wish to continue to go to events, we will need cash. The team is issued a small amount of funding through the school which is never enough to cover all expenses.
