Humboldt State University Cycling Team

As most of you are aware, insurance is required to be active on the Humboldt State Cycling team. If you do not have have insurance there is no need to worry as temporary insurance can be purchased rather inexpensively online or through a local provider. Temporary insurance will satisfy the requirements for the school and for being active with the team. Another important note for insurance is Life Flight insurance. If you need to be air lifted to a hospital your normal insurance usually will not cover the cost which can be as much as $25,000. Check out the link for CalStar as they are the provider for most of the areas where races take place. Membership is less than $60 for a whole family for a year and covers you no matter where or what you are doing (skiing, driving, etc.).
