My main interests are teaching at the University and Junior College level, vertebrate morphology, vertebrate natural history and environmental science. I have taught at Humboldt State University and College of the Redwoods since 1990. I am also involved with the Veterans Upward Bound program and the Educational Opportunities Summer Bridge Program. This past year I participated in the training and supervision of 35 students involved with museum techniques and specimen preparation. Recently the HSU Vertebrate Museum has rearticulated the skeleton of a beaked whale (Mesoplodon) for display in the Science "B" foyer and a mountain lion (Felis concolor) for display at the Arcata Musem of Natural History.
