How do I add a new printer? I just got a new USB printer for my office?

You'll generally have to open call for an installation. Use our Open a work ticket form here or from the menu at the left to get this started.

How do I add a network printer? How can I install the printer in my department office ? (Windows only, contact the ITC for Mac assistance)

  1. Click here to connect to AH-PTRSVR1 . (Opens in a new window)
This link will only work if you are on campus AND not using wireless. Printing wirelessly is NOT supported.

    (Or
Click on the Start Button and select Run.
In the Run field, type \\AH-PTRSVR1 .
    Click on OK.)
  2. Select your department printer(s) from the list (check that the full name of the printer is shown, since some printers are different depending on whether you are using Windows XP or Vista.) Printers have limited access. If you cannot connect to your department printer, contact the ITC at x4773.
  3. Double-click the correct printer name to install it.
  4. When a new window opens titled whichever_printer_you_just_selected on AH-PTRSVR, the printer has been installed. You can close these new windows, and will be able to select and print to the new printer immediately.

I can't find my Favorites or Links bar after upgrading to Internet Explorer 7. Where's the File Edit View Tools Favorites Help menu?

To use the Menu Bar "on the fly" (and let it rehide after each use):

To show (or hide) the Menu Bar, (or Links, or your Goole Toolbar):
