Manual Search
There are several ways to use this portion of the search engine. You can expand your search focus by selecting fewer options, or narrow your search focus by selecting more options. Some search suggestions include:
- Select only your major to see all the links categorized by your major
- Select only Internship to see all the links categorized for all internship listings
- Select your major and Full-Time Career to see major-related links with full-time listings
- Type in only the keyword humboldt and see all the links to employers in Humboldt County (we will be including additional keywords for your searches, i.e. energy, international, art, sociology, education, technology)
- Select your Counselor for your major and Career Exploration to see links to career information regarding your major
- There may be several combinations of searches you will want to try

Link Categories
- Full Time/Career - provides a link to a company or organization that offers employment opportunities for your area of interest.
- Internship - provides a link to a company or organization that offers internship opportunities for your area of interest.
- Career Assessment - web links provide a broad range of basic information on occupations including type of duties performed, training requirements, work environment, and employment outlook.
- Career Exploration - A variety of useful, online tools to do self-assessment, including exploring personality and attitude, skills and traits, style, values, and interests.
