and set a date and schedule times for your recruitment.
The Career Center recommends conducting open interview schedules. Students review your job description(s) and qualifications, submit a resume to the Career Center, and sign up for an interview time.
The interviewing day normally begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends with the last interview ending at 5:00 p.m. Our standard schedule consists of fourteen 30-minute interviews with an hour for lunch. At your request, we can accommodate your interview schedule to consist of 20, 45 or 60 minute interviews. The Recruitment Information Form will ask you to specify any special arrangement or changes to the standard interview schedule.
If an on-campus recruiting trip is not possible for your organization, we would be happy to collect resumes for you. The basic procedures for scheduling an on-campus visit apply, but we set a deadline for accepting materials from interested candidates and then forward all materials to you. Employers can also request that students upload their resume on Springboard and give access to employers when they sign up for an interview online. We can assemble resumes and e-mail them to your office in a packet, or if the student prefers, they can permission you to see their resume online.
You may wish to host an Information Session to introduce your organization to the students, faculty and staff. The information meeting provides company representatives the opportunity to give a short presentation about their organization and provide information on current and future employment needs. Some of the students attending may be interviewing with your organization, while others will be gathering information to help them decide on a major or start their job search.
Please indicate your interest in hosting an information session in the employer information section, or call the On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator at (707) 826-3341.
Multi-media equipment (such as, lite-pro projectors, laptop computers, VCR and monitors, overhead projectors) and catering can also be arranged for your Information Session. If you require either multi-media equipment or catering they should be ordered at the time you schedule your information session. Please ask the On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator to assist you in organizing these arrangements.
If you would like to invite a member/s of the faculty or staff to join you for lunch, the On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator will be happy to assist you. Please indicate the specific people or departments you would be interested in making contact with on the Recruitment Information Form.
