We believe that you play a vital role in the effective delivery of our
services to HSU students. You are in a primary position to refer and encourage
students to utilize the many services we provide. In addition, many of you
have contact with HSU alumni, colleagues from other colleges/universities,
and other potential employers that may want to use our services to hire
students as interns, research assistants, or permanent employees.
The Career Center Staff is available to provide information to you and
your students in a variety of ways.
- Class or club presentations on resume writing, interview techniques,
job search, career outlook, and other topics
- Collaboration on incorporating career development into academic coursework
- Assistance hiring students for your department or research projects
- Guidelines for writing letters of recommendation or handling employment-related
legal issues
- Career Center Tours
