Geography Deptartment

Humboldt State offers a geography program that is nationally renowned for innovative teaching, hands-on learning, travel study experiences, and access to the latest technology.

Kosmos Lab

Kosmos is the Department of Geography's 15-seat teaching lab. It was designed to support Geography's cartography courses, integrate mapping and web applications throughout the geography curriculum, complement existing HSU remote sensing and GIS labs, and link geography majors with students from other departments sharing an interest in mapping with a strong design component.

NRPI Department

The Natural Resources Planning & Interpretation Department for the uninitiated. Offers GIS and Remote Sensing cources and degree options.

Spatial Analysis Lab

The HSU Spatial Analysis Lab (SA-Lab) is the home of geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing teaching facilities within the College of Natural Resources and Sciences. The SA-Lab is utilized primarily in support of teaching and lab activities associated with courses in GIS and remote sensing.
