Ticket sales offset only a portion of what it costs to present a world-class season such as our ’08-’09 series. And there’s more to CenterArts than just a schedule of performances. Through our Artists & Schools series, over 10,000 of Humboldt County’s elementary school children are exposed to exciting, educational and culturally diverse professional arts experiences. Our Art$hare program helps increase access to the arts for everyone in our community through the distribution of tickets to underprivileged children and their families. To help breakdown barriers between artists and audiences, we sponsor many free masterclasses, workshops and artist residencies.
