CASAE has been actively involved in applied research and evaluation since 1991. In that time CASAE has worked with over a number of community organizations and completed over 60 reports documenting evaluation activities. Some of CASAE’s past projects include juvenile crime prevention programs, an adult crime prevention program, a training program for in-home caregivers, and a school-based program for at-risk youth and families. Specific evaluation projects have been done on the Rio Dell Healthy Start Program, Humboldt County Drug Court, HSU Associated Student Body, Arcata Police Department, the Repeat Offender Prevention Program, the Project Challenge Drug Diversion Program, among others.
