Introduction to Permaculture Fundamentals

Permaculture can transform your life and give you a stable foundation in a changing world. This new 2-day program weaves together permaculture, nature awareness, and "inner ecology" into a concise and powerful format -- a weekend that stands on its own or serves as an introduction for one of our 2-week intensive or 4-seasons permaculture design certification courses.

Re-Design Your Life! Re-Envision the World!

This permaculture design intensive is taught by a stellar cast of permaculture "all stars." If you haven't taken a permaculture certification course, this is the one to take -- and if you have, you'll be tempted to take it again! We have added an extra day to the course to accommodate each instructor's special offerings.

In thiscourse, you will observe and use the same principles that make ecological systems self-sustaining, and learn how to apply them to integrate homes and gardens. In addition, you will learn how to apply these principles to energy systems, water supplies, healthy communities, meaningful and fulfilling work, ecological economies and global political movements. This course weaves together the principles and practices of permaculture with wilderness awareness -- explore bird language and tracking and participate in activities that deepen your awareness and intimacy with the rest of the natural world. The program is founded on the reality that we are nature and have an amazing role in our watershed ecosystems.
