Grading

Your grade will be based on the following grading scheme:

Homework - 30%
Paper - 10%
Midterm - 30%
Final - 30%

Homework

There will be weekly homework assignments. I encourage you to discuss the problem with classmates or work in groups. However, each person should write up their own solutions. Late homework will not be accepted, but you can make arrangements with me to turn it in early if you have to miss class.
