Technology Research & Development

The CDC staff is available to explore any technologies that may be consdered an enhancement course content delivery. Examples of this include the exploration of a visual database for organizing 35 mm slides in a digital retrieval format using an application called Portfolio.

The CDC is also currently exploring the use of three dimensional landscapes that allow for swapping specific local terrain. This is a valuable tool that has multi-disciplinary applications. Students will be able to select a watershed and then navigate through the landscape as if in a low flying aircraft.
