Web Design & Maintenance Services

The CDC can design you a site that blends appropriate content delivery with aesthetically pleasing, easy to navigate interface designs. Sites can be designed and maintained by the CDC, or we can design a site that you can update yourself.

Traditional Web Sites versus Blackboard/Moodle

Blackboard and Moodle are both Course Management Systems, a type of software that allows instructors to easily put course information online. Each course receives its own website which is password-protected, and only students that are registered in the course at HSU have access to the course content. Instructors do not need to know html to use Blackboard and Moodle; content is added through the use of online forms, and files made in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and various other programs can be added directly into these systems.
