CMC-Far North is the North Coast affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and the California Mathematics Council (CMC).  


Our purpose is to provide support to teachers of mathematics in Humboldt, Mendocino, Lake, Del Norte, and Trinity Counties.

Annual Fall Conference

Mathematical Literacy for the 21st Century

Saturday, October 17, 2009
8 am - 1 pm
Arcata High School Campus

Keynote Speaker will be Tim Gill - Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Lake County Office of Education.

Membership

The easiest way to join is to attend our annual fall conference. Membership in CMC-Far North is included in the registration fee. Or, send $10 to Membership Chairman, Lynn Teasley, 1197 Walker Point Rd Bayside, CA 95519.

Grants

Members are eligible to apply for Infinity Grants in amounts up to $250. Application Form

Members in CMC-Far North are may choose to join CMC-North and are eligible to apply for CMC-N grants in amounts up to $500. See CMC .
