Applied Technology :

Cyrus Raoufi, Ph.D., P.E.

Dr. Cyrus Raoufi has joined the faculty of the Applied Technology Department with the completion of his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, Canada, in the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department. Dr. Raoufi specializes in robotics, mechatronics, automation, manufacturing and computer-aided design (CAD).

He received his M.S. degree in 2003 from Queen’s University, Mechanical and Material Engineering Department, Canada. His Bachelor of Engineering degree was earned in 1991 from the University of Technology, Mechanical Engineering Department, Isfahan, Iran.

He has worked in his field of study from 1991 to 2001 both in Iran and Canada, and has won numerous awards and scholarships and fellowships.
