Girding Your Loins:
Surviving the Big Portfolio Reading
Updated: 06/09/05

Bring a potluck dish to share. We will all break for lunch together.

Please bring enough supplies—orthopedic and/or electro-shock devices, medication, prayer beads—to keep you comfortable all day. We must all continue to read until we have completed our task.

Please bring the magic pen distributed earlier in the week to the reading.

Meet in the designated reading room at the designated time. We will begin norming immediately, so please arrive in enough time to store your food, find your seat (look for a reading packet with your name on it), and settle in. We will begin the actual reading as soon as we complete our norming, and we will continue reading until we have read all our portfolios (translation: please do not make plans for Friday afternoon or evening).
