NSF-REU's for Summer 2009
The National Science Foundation (NSF) sponsors Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) sites around the country each summer, including one right here at Humboldt State University (see below). Students receive a stipend in addition to lodging, and usually travel expenses and some meals are included as well. Computing students should strongly consider applying for these unique and valuable opportunities to gain experience in actually participating in computing research while still undergraduates.
