Programming Database Applications
Course: CS 318
Description: In-depth implementation of concepts of programming applications using fourth generation language tools. Ad hoc interaction with database using SQL; programming SQL scripts; design of applications using forms and menus; programming and application using form and menu structures; programming with a report generator; accessing the database from a procedural language.
Units: 3
Recommended prerequisite: CIS 315 with a minimum C grade and MATH 253 with a minimum C grade.
Format: Two hours lecture, two hours lab per week.
