Fine Lace and Leather Country Western Dance Club

This is the Fine Lace and Leather Country Western Dance Club demo team. We do demonstrations for any group of people that would like to know more about country/western dancing. Fine Lace and Leather is Humboldt County's original country/western dance club. Some of the places that we have done demo's are Redwood Acres Fair, Ferndale Co. Fair, Fort Bragg, Best of the West Fest, Rio Dell, Pony Express Days, and Del Loma. So, if you would like to see a demonstration of country/western dancing, please join us at one of our demos.

Fine Lace and Leather also has dance classes from September through May. We teach line dancing for the singles. We also teach two-step, waltz, and west and east coast swing along with several different specialty partner dances for couples. On Monday nights classes start at 6:30 P.M. for line dance instruction and 7:45 P.M. for couples instruction, at the Moose Lodge in Eureka. On Wednesday nights classes start at 6:30 P.M. for line dance instruction and 7:45 P.M. for couples instruction at the Fortuna Skating Rink in Fortuna. We have a CD dance each month on the 3rd Saturday so you can practice all the new dances you learn. If you are interested in country/western dancing come join us at one of our classes or call 707-442-6121.

Fine Lace & Leather had their first line dance workshop on Saturday May 15th 1999. It was great! Charlotte Skeeters did a wonderful job of instructing us in some of her dances. We started at 9AM and took a break at noon then were back on the dance floor at 1PM and broke again at 4PM only to come back at 7:30PM for open dancing. A good time was had by all. Thank you Charlotte for all of the wonderful dances. We are having our next workshop on May 20, 2000. Our instructors will be Michelle Burton and Michael Barr. They are excellent instructors and Choreographer's that have taught in the US and abroad. We are looking forward to a fun filled weekend.
