B.S. – Economics, Miami University, 1986
M.S. – Economics, University of Oregon, 1994
Ph.D. – Economics, University of Oregon, 1995

Professor Wilson teaches international economics, intermediate microeconomics, development economics, and principles of economics. She was a Peace Corps volunteer from 1986-88 in Niger, Africa. She is interested in international and development economics. She recently created a service-learning course on sustainable rural economic development. Prior to coming to HSU in 2001, Professor Wilson taught at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.

Beth Wilson has published articles in the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Journal of Real Estate Practice and Education, and Research Issues in Real Estate. She recently presented a paper with one of her students at the American Real Estate Society meetings and one a campus-wide award for her efforts on providing education to the disabled.
