Student Awards
Over the years the Department of Economics has attracted some
of the most accomplished students at HSU to our major. Consequently we
have developed a number of awards in recognition of our students'
accomplishments:
- The Adam Smith Award is given annually to an Economics
student in recognition of achievement and professional promise in the
field of Economics.
- The Academic Achievement Award is given annually to an
Economics student in recognition of top academic achievement.
- The Excellence in Academics Award in Economics is given
annually by the College of Professional Studies to an Economics student
in recognition of their academic
performance.
- The Excellence in Community Service Award in Economics is
given annually by the College of Professional Studies to an Economics
student in recognition of outstanding community service.
