Student Awards
Over the years the Department of Economics has attracted some of the most accomplished students at HSU to our major. Consequently we have developed a number of awards in recognition of our students' accomplishments:
- The Adam Smith Award is given annually to an Economics student in recognition of achievement and professional promise in the field of Economics.
- The Academic Achievement Award is given annually to an Economics student in recognition of top academic achievement.
- The Excellence in Academics Award in Economics is given annually by the College of Professional Studies to an Economics student in recognition of their academic
performance.
- The Excellence in Community Service Award in Economics is given annually by the College of Professional Studies to an Economics student in recognition of
outstanding community service.
