HSU Spatial Analysis Lab

The HSU Spatial Analysis Lab (SA-Lab) is the home of geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing technologies. It is a joint effort of the Departments of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences and Forestry and Watershed Management. In addition to use by core courses, the lab is available to HSU students involved in special projects requiring GIS or remote sensing technologies. Students gain hands-on experience applying these technologies as tools for managing, evaluating, analyzing and visualizing spatial data.
