Resources for Getting into Graduate School

EOP/SSS offers students guidance in understanding how to get admitted into graduate and professional schools. During the spring semester, we offer a two-hour introductory workshop and during the fall semester, we offer an extended semester-long, hands-on course. During both of these offerings, we will introduce you to a number of topics, including how to research graduate programs, what is included in the application process, how to prepare for and improve your performance on entrance exams, how to find scholarships and other funding possibilities, and how to prepare a timeline of what to do and when.

Keep an eye out each semester for class and workshop dates on the EOP/SSS listserv, and be sure to discuss your interest in graduate school with your EOP/SSS advisor. Getting into graduate school can seem like a daunting process, but taking it step-by-step can make it an attainable goal.
