
About the Ethnic Studies Minor
The minor consists of 15 units of approved courses in Ethnic Studies, including ES 105, "Introduction to U.S. Ethnic Studies." Students may take a range of Ethnic Studies courses or develop a specialization within your Ethnic Studies minor. - to know more about the diverse sociocultural experiences of ethnic/racial minority and majority groups through history, literature, art, culture, and society in the U.S. and global contexts.

- to explore human diversity and commonality in terms of race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality, religion, and nationality in various sociocultural contexts.

Career Opportunities
With the changing ethnic composition of society, there is clear and growing demand for individuals in education, government, and the private sector with knowledge and expertise in ethnic/racial/class and cross-cultural relations.
