Redwood Writing Project
RWP provides inservice programs for experienced and preservice teachers as well as beginning-teacher and youth writing programs. Rooted firmly in a teachers-teaching-teachers model, the project marshals the best writing teachers of all levels, kindergarten through college, to share their best practices with other educators. Redwood Area Math Project
RAMP serves a large geographic area, including Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake, Mendocino, Lake, Siskiyou and Trinity Counties. Teachers share their experience and expertise with other teachers and together they investigate the current move towards balance in mathematics education, problem-solving strategies, collaborative learning, the use of manipulatives to reinforce basic skills, assessment techniques, and the importance of technology in the classroom. California Geographic Alliance
CGA promotes geographic education and awareness among California teachers, students and the public. This program helps educators prepare students to embrace a diverse world, succeed in a global economy, and steward the planet’s resources.
