Current Progress Report


Kiewit Construction Company has been hard at work on the new Physical Education Facility over the last several months. Phase I of this project is expected to be completed in late Winter 2008. Phase II will begin shortly thereafter, which will include modifications to the existing Forbes Complex. Current milestones achieved to date include:

  • Completion of All Structural Steel
  • Completion of Roof Metal Decking
  • Near Completion of Site Concrete and Paving
  • Near Completion of 1st Floor Rough-In (including framing and utilities)

Over the next few months, Kiewit will be working on the following tasks:

  • Installation of Roof System, Glazing, and Exterior Metal Panels
  • Completion of 2nd & 3rd Floor Rough-In (including framing and utilities)
  • Installation and Construction of the Pool
  • Installation of Building Finishes
