The Schatz Energy Research Center has donated approximately $3M to construct a new research facility.  The new research center, located atop Cluster Court to the west of the BSS Building, will contain two indoor laboratories, one exterior laboratory, machine shop, conference/demonstration room and offices for both staff and graduate students.  The new building will be designed and constructed to meet USGBC LEED Gold equivalence.  Construction on the project is scheduled to start in March of 2009.
