We are announcing two PS Finance trainings for August:
These two trainings are oriented towards new users. Together they cover the basic set of skills and understanding that a departmental user needs in PS Finance. It is our intention to capture users who are coming in new with the new academic year, and get them oriented in PS Finance. Users who have already taken either of these trainings will not find anything dramatically new, and in particular the classes are not designed to be forums for special topics or problems. However, they are as always open to anyone who wishes to attend; and, we hope you’ll pass the word to new users in your areas. (A bulk mail will also go out to staff.)
We were unable to get HGH 225 for the second training, and so have fallen back on the CMS Lab which has less seating. Again, this should be adequate for the new user audience we have in mind.

The accounting staff have declared June 2005 (FY 2004, period 12) officially closed. Entries to June were completed August 3; any reports run since then should be stable.
