Effective today with the new PS Finance release, two purchasing reports that were previously issued as locally-created reports are now delivered as CSU-standard reports. We have accordingly removed our versions, and refer users to the CSU versions instead.

The former versions of the reports were:
HUMPO004 Open PO Activity
HUMPO005 PO Activity Report
found under Humboldt Reports and Processes-Humboldt PO Reports-Run PO004 and PO005

The new versions are:
CSUPO051 Open PO Activity
CSUPO052 PO Activity Report
found under Purchasing-Purchase Orders-Reports-CSU PO Detail Activity Rpt

If you created Favorites for these reports in your PS Finance menu, you’ll want to change them now.

HUMPO002, the PO Life Cycle Report, remains unchanged under the Humboldt Reports and Processes-Humboldt PO Reports menu location.

CMS has notified us that Finance production will be down this evening from 5:00 p.m. until midnight, in order to install the application upgrade to version 8.40.050.

CMS Central will be taking down our Finance application at noon today (Wed April 12) to solve a problem we’ve seen executing some processes including budget checking and journal editing. This downtime is simply to “bounce” the server, so the downtime should be brief, but all users will need to be off. Thanks for your patience.

For your convenience and ours, we have consolidated the two existing PS Finance Access Request Forms into a single form that provides for all kinds of access to PS Finance, including requisition entry, financials inquiry, and internal Fiscal Staff use. The form also reflects the latest procedures for obtaining access. Please discard any blank copies of the previous form versions you may have downloaded or stockpiled in your area.

The form remains available from the Fiscal Affairs website (via the PS Finance main page at http://www.humboldt.edu/~fiscal/topics/psfin/psfin.html, or the Fiscal Forms page at http://www.humboldt.edu/~fiscal/forms/forms.html), as well as from the Procurement website (via the Procurement Forms page at http://www.humboldt.edu/~procure/forms.htm). The form is now available in two different formats, xls (enterable), or pdf (printable).

The process for requesting HR access remains separate from the Finance process, and the HR form is unaffected by this change.

The cutover to the new CMS Data Center in Salt Lake City has been completed, and the PS applications are available again. Please be aware that, contrary to our expectation, the address of the login pages has changed slightly with the move. The new login URLs are:
