About PS Finance

With the beginning of the 2004-05 fiscal year, the new campus accounting information system is PeopleSoft Finance, as provided by CSU’s Common Management Systems project (CMS).

All reporting for PS Finance will be provided online. No printed reports will be distributed.

Detail prior to FY 2004-05 will not be available in PS Finance. For more information on access to this history, see About FRS within these pages.

Access

To apply for access:

  1. Fill out and submit a PS Finance Access Request Form. Be sure to include your administrator's signature.
  2. It is your responsibility to obtain training through any combination of Web self-study, peer assistance, or scheduled classes (see Training below).

Training

Training Guides for requisition entry are available on the Procurement website.

Introductory training classes for Finance inquiry and reporting are offered on a recurring basis. The introductory sequence will be offered quarterly in FY 2005-06.

Advanced training in specific topics will be offered on an ad hoc basis. To suggest a topic for training, email fiscal@humboldt.edu. Delivery of classes will be at the discretion of, and announced by, Financial Services.
