Wildland Fire Management

This option is usually favored by those wishing for a career in managing wildland fuels, prescribed fire, fire suppression, or fire ecology. Students who complete this curriculum qualify as a forester on the Federal Register. Typical coursework in this option includes:

Fire behavior and suppression
Fire ecology Wildland fire use, and
Wildland fuels management
