LOGGING SPORTS
A member of the Association of Western Forestry Clubs (AWFC), Humboldt State participates in several state-wide and regional conclave competitions. Conclave is a lumberjack/lumberjill competition that celebrates traditional forestry and logging skills and includes field trips to forestry operations. Typical conclave events include: axe throw, birling, dendrology, pole climb, speed chop, and double buck.
